Sunday Fun day

Yesterday, we attended Sonya Kovalevsky Day at UW Eau Claire.  In the evening we attended a fundraiser for Friends of the local Library. 

Fun?  yes.  Work-life balance?  Definitely.

Today is the crunch day.

I need to grade gazillian papers from all 6 of my classes AND prep lessons.  

  • Spend time with kids – Check
  • Papers Grades – None
  • Algebra lesson plans  – check
  • Intermediate Algebra  lesson plans – Check
  • College Algebra  lesson plans – Not started yet
  • Blog Post written and posted – almost check
  • Comments on March Slice of Life slicers  – Next item on agenda
  • Comments on Student Blogging Challenge bloggers – Not yet

It is already 10 PM.

I better get going and get on with my task completion. 

Sleep can wait, the students can’t 🙂

L'Heure de tous

How fast the time flies, 
Just yesterday, it was 3/4/15
and before a blink of  the eye, 
it will be 3/4/34

Where did the time go? 
where it will take me?
Lets not think about it, just keep on marching.

Hold on to today and make the best use
Let go of past regret and glory, 
Let's make 3/4/19 count today
Remain steadfast everyday :)

Don’t let mommy start the book

or she will not put it away

Five minutes, one more page 

give me some time will stretch for end of the day (or til the book is done)

On the other hand, 

If you want to keep her occupied, 

let’s put a book in her way. 

She can’t refuse, 

she can’t avoid, 

she sure has an affinity for 

any, any, any book in her way.

Lets get her.

Put a book in her way and we can get away 🙂
